Grand Candy’s sweet presents to all orphanages and special schools
First the caramel and then the candy factories were put into operation. The two factories produced 100 types of confectionery. In 2000, only 600 people worked at Grand Candy. Increasing the volume of production and sales year by year, "Grand Candy" now occupies more than 40% of the Armenian confectionery market. Thanks to well-organized production, the company has a strong position in the market in a short period of time, presenting to consumers already well-known traditional products, such as brand new products for the local market.
The confectionery is delivered by 270 trucks with its own small-wholesale network, bases located in 8 regions of the Republic of Armenia, 29 branded stores, thus servicing 8,450 points dealing with network, wholesale and retail food. Today, Grand Candy supplies 99.9% of Armenia's foreign trade directly.
In 2016, the company launched a flexographic printing press equipped with state-of-the-art German equipment. Regular updating of equipment and the introduction of new technologies allow the company to respond quickly to market changes and maintain a leading position.
On September 10, 2010, Grand Candy set a new world record for the "Greatest Chocolate Tile in the World" in the Guinness Book of World Records. This is Armenia's first industrial record.
